HQ Data Services LLC ("HQ Data Services," "we," "us") built this policy to explain, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use the Data Analyst Agent or any other tool on this site. If something here is unclear, email info@hqdataservicesllc.com and we'll clarify or fix it.
What we collect
- Files you upload. When you use the Data Analyst Agent, the spreadsheet (CSV/Excel) you upload is processed to generate the profiling, cleaning, and summary results you see.
- The questions you type. Whatever you type into the "what are you trying to figure out" field is used to guide the analysis.
- Contact and email info. If you message us through a contact form or email us directly, we receive whatever you include (name, email, message).
- Payment information. If you unlock a full report, payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number — Stripe processes the transaction and tells our system only whether the payment succeeded.
How your uploaded data is used
Your uploaded file is processed to run the analysis you requested: profiling columns, handling missing data, and generating the summary tables and charts you see on screen. Part of that processing is sent to a third-party AI service provider to generate the plain-English question, recommendation, and summary text you see in the tool. That provider processes the data solely to return results to you — it is not used to train their models under our current configuration, and it is not used by us for any purpose beyond generating your results.
How long we keep it
Uploaded data and analysis sessions are held in server memory only, for the duration of your session. They are not written to a permanent database. Sessions are automatically cleared when the server restarts or redeploys, and older sessions are automatically dropped once a fixed session limit is reached. In practice, this means your data does not persist indefinitely on our systems — but you should not upload data you would not be comfortable having processed by a third-party AI service, since we cannot guarantee an exact deletion timeline for a given session.
Free demo vs. paid reports
The free demo enforces a 500-row / 20-column limit and is rate-limited per visitor. Paying to unlock a report does not change how your data is stored — it removes the download restriction on the tables already generated from your upload for that session.
Your responsibility for what you upload
Please don't upload files containing sensitive personal data you don't have the right to share — for example, data covered by HIPAA, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or similar regulated categories — unless you have confirmed with us in writing that we support that data type. The current tool is built for general business spreadsheets (sales, operations, and similar data), not regulated health or financial records.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic (e.g., page views). We do not use these to build advertising profiles or sell data to ad networks.
Children's privacy
This site and its tools are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your choices
You can request that we delete any contact information you've sent us, or ask what data we hold related to a specific session, by emailing info@hqdataservicesllc.com. Because sessions are not permanently stored, most upload data will already be gone by the time such a request is processed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the tool evolves (for example, when we add new features or data types). We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
